Great video! This explores a topic that many (including me) knew little about. I love the song too. Who sings it?

I am glad you liked it.
The song is the work of three woman arts the main singer was Pink and the other two were the Indigo Girls.

Phyliss, love your video! And, the song too!! I was thinking of using an Indigo Girls song for my video too... their lyrics always strike a chord within me (oh, I was working on idioms and cliche statements last night with my SAT student, sorry for that one! =)

But I liked the focus on exporting education and questioning what the next steps should be.

The Indigo Girls songs can be very political in nature. I am glad that I could help with your tutoring of SAT words. Good Luck

Phyllis,

You made a great video! The song is powerful and without a doubt, adds emphasis to the presentation. I, personally, think competition is a good thing. Thus, attempting to outsource education might "light a fire" under some of our under performing coworkers. However, I do not think anyone could educate our children better than we can. For example, I find it hard to believe that someone from another country would be able to relate to my students as well as I can.

Sincerely,

Marc

I can agree with you. So many of my students go through allot in their lives. I can't see them learning getting their lives together to focuses with out the help of someone to learn through a computer.

You video was amazing. Really made me question the idea of NCLB even more.
